Chief Accountant

Role Description

We’re in search of an experienced Chief Accountant with a solid background in the gaming industry to lead our accounting operations. This role is integral to our finance department, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership. The Chief Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance and play a crucial role in financial reporting, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance with local laws and gaming regulations.
• Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
• Support the Head of Finance in budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
• Guide and mentor the accounting team towards achieving excellence and efficiency in all processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the gaming industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software and financial systems.
• Proven leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
