Chief Accountant

Job Description:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
• Conduct necessary training to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date.
• Review corporate and personal income tax returns, VAT to ensure accuracy.
• Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code.
• Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers.
• Address potential compliance issues proactively.
• Maintain compliance with all regulations.
• Keep highly organized and updated client files.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.
• Report directly to Factory Manager, HK Finance Team and Group CFO.
• Cash flow reports and budget/forecast related works.
• Monthly Sales Report to Head Quarter.
• Monthly & Quarterly internal and external report.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the management

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.
• Minimum of 6–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of VAS, tax regulations, and other relevant laws.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in managing external audits and tax inspections.
