    : MEP MANAGER(HEAD SOLAR ENERGY) - HCM

    Job Description:
    Design - Optimization
    • Perform duties assigned by the BOD including but not limited to: setting and monitoring project scheduling and project budgets; supervise MEP project teams to ensure a high quality of production work; reviewing and checking of drawings, and ensuring that all appropriate authorizations/signatures/stamps are included on drawings before issuance.
    • Responsible for all activities involving design, engineer and optimize commercial PV system projects on all levels of technicality and specialization including but not exclusive to:
    1. L1 Design - Design and optimize PV solution concept (min-maxing between energy efficiency - utilization - demand - availability)
    2. L2 Design - Expand upon the solution concept design to detailed designs and drawings of the to be constructed system. Optimize detailed designs are based on on-site evaluation (third parties or internal audits), active site plans and layouts, and LCOE of PV systems
    3. L3 Design - Shop drawings of L2 designs and optimization of detail BOM of PV system designs. Active assessment and minimization of differences between L2-L3 material quantity estimation and finalized construction material quantity at end of EPC.
    • Ensure adherence to local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Contribute to or draft technical papers, and develop construction documents using AutoCAD and SketchUp, PVSyst.
    Team/Subcon management
    • Attend client and stakeholder meetings when is required.
    • Assist Business Development department in preparing cost proposal for ME Engineering man-hours/fees and design contact scope of works.
    • Be proactive and to ensure that key project decisions and/or corrective actions are made in a timely manner, and are well communicated to all staff and client.
    • Assist with any necessary changes to the project strategy and process, including any necessary financial changes.
    • Undertake engineering review and validation of design documents prepared by design team to ensure the design is safe, economical, efficient and constructible.
    Project management
    • Ensuring the timely completion and submission of required ME design reports or any technical documents in the submission of designs for approval to the proper authorities such as Building License report, Fire License report and Master Planning report.
    • Provide engineering advice/comments in reviewing shop drawings, material and equipment submissions from the contractors.
    • Review and evaluate project resources, design schedules and to decide whether the projects to be outsourced or it will be internally designed.
    • Manage outsourced resources, specifying the qualifications and experience required for the relevant ME design engineers.
    • Prepare and finalized project design brief and specifications in cooperation with design team.
    • Provide technical support or advice to the project QS or Project Manager in the preparation of tender documents and actively participate tender meetings as required.
    • Conduct Value engineering analysis and make sound recommendations to meet budget requirements.
    • Ensure the successful completion and handover of projects and contract obligations are carried accordingly in a timely manner.

    Yêu cầu công việc

    :
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field).
    • 10+ years of experience in the renewable solar energy industry, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing solar energy projects.
    • In-depth knowledge of solar panel technology, site assessment, and project development processes.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
    • Experience with solar project.
    • Knowledge of environmental impact assessments and permitting processes.
    • Experience with financial modeling and cost analysis for renewable energy projects.
