1. Assist the team manager to ensure the respective function under charge achieve the warehouse KPI’s such as productivity, overall cost, backlog, accuracy, etc via:
Supervise the daily workflow and manpower deployment to meet daily performance, quality and cost targets.Assist the team manager to identify daily operational bottlenecks and work closely with other warehouse management counterparts to derive resolution.Assist the team manager to identify obstacle and hindrance in warehouse layout, warehouse processes and IT and recommend solutions to drive efficiency and productivityExecute efficiency improvement opportunities to achieve operational excellence for the respective function in chargeManage all inbound operations and ensure the team meets all KPIs including but not limited to zero inbound errors, zero backlog on inbound floor.Produce reports for inbound and monitor the performance based on the reportsMonitor the process and propose improvements that can give performance gains to the teamEscalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame.Provide warehouse management with end of day / shift handover information.Daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties.Performance management including appraisals, RTW and coaching.Management of holiday and absence.2. Work with team leaders during shift to ensure workers are performing optimally with needed skills and knowledge to achieve the daily productivity outputActively coach and train workers who exhibit skills / knowledge gaps to prevent impediment of daily operation progressConstantly provide and maintain a clear and concise communication channels within the function so that essential information is cascaded and understood within the teamWork with Team Leader to ensure and maintain strict discipline within the function workforce

Qualification:
Candidate should possess bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Professional Degree in Logistic/Warehouse Management, management or equivalent
Competency:
- Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, fulfilment management team local and regional, other department and business stakeholders
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skilfully gather and analyse information
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and improve performance through management feedback
- Have knowledge in logistics management and strategy
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics management
- Been responsible for a team.
- Have broad experience in logistics area (inbound, outbound, inventory and return, also transportation)
