Mechanical Design Engineer

• Mechanical Design & Development:
o Design and develop mechanical components and systems used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment (e.g., robotic arms, vacuum chambers, and cooling systems).
o Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD).
o Perform stress, thermal, and kinematic analyses to ensure the mechanical integrity and functionality of designs.
o Select materials and manufacturing processes that meet the design requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
o Work closely with electrical, software, and process engineers to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and control systems.
o Support product development from concept through prototyping, testing, and final
production.
o Participate in design reviews, provide technical inputs, and contribute to the resolution
of technical issues.

• Prototyping and Testing:
o Create prototypes and conduct tests to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of designs.
o Analyze test results and make design improvements based on data collected.
o Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during testing or manufacturing.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Identify and implement design improvements to enhance system performance, reduce
costs, and streamline production.
o Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain thorough documentation of design decisions, test results, and design changes.
o Prepare and present technical reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
