    Hi there, we’re Article. We’re a North American based furniture company creating remarkably better furniture experiences one sofa at a time. And as the Order Management Coordinator, you’ll help us maximize the availability of our products while minimizing cost and strengthening supplier relationships.


    Why We Need You:

    As part of the Supply Chain team you will be responsible for the coordination of purchase orders (POs) based on supply plans, ensuring timely and in-full deliveries from vendors. Working closely with the Sourcing, Inbound Logistics and Supply Chain Planning teams, you will facilitate the seamless coordination execution of Article’s supply plans, track orders, and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing and delivery process that may impact our availability, cost or quality. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, supporting vendor relationships, and optimizing order fulfillment to meet customer demand efficiently.

    While, we sell to the North American market, we work closely with a number of our manufacturing partners throughout Asia. As a result, we have an office in Thao Dien, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where we currently have around 50 Particles (people of Article) working.


    As a Particle (people of Article), you will have a high level of autonomy to solve challenging, meaningful problems the best way you can. That means you’re trusted to explore solutions you believe will work best (you’re the expert, after all). You’ll do all this while growing your skills within a company that is redefining the furniture industry.


    What You’ll Do:

    You’ll be part of a team of 3 and act as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding purchase orders, shipment schedules, and issue resolution.


    Vendor Coordination & Communication:

    • Convert supply plans into purchase orders and issue them to vendors accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Work closely with these vendors to:

    - confirm production timelines, resolve potential delays, and expedite orders when needed.

    - optimize order batching, minimize lead times, and improve fulfillment rates.

    • Identify and troubleshoot order discrepancies, including quantity shortages, delays, and quality issues and manage vendor payment debits / credits accordingly.


    Logistics & Shipment Coordination:

    • Track, monitor, and update purchase orders to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries. Ensure accurate documentation and system updates related to all purchase orders.

    • Liaise with the ocean transportation and customs operations teams to ensure smooth order flow from production to shipment.

    • Monitor shipments to prevent bottlenecks, proactively identify risks and escalate when necessary.

    • Ensure that vendor shipments align with container utilization plans and warehouse receiving schedules.


    Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement:

    • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in order management and procurement execution.

    • Participate in system enhancements and contribute to automation efforts in order management workflows.

    • Collaborate with the sourcing team to communicate vendor performance metrics and areas for improvement.

    Yêu cầu công việc

    • 2+ years of experience in supply chain operations, purchasing, procurement, or order management.

    • Strong purchase order management experience, preferably in international sourcing and logistics.

    • Good communication skills in English (written & verbal) to work effectively with international teams.

    • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and familiarity with order management or ERP systems.

    • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting.
