1. Accounting Management and Bookkeeping
- Organize, manage, and be responsible for the operations of the Accounting Department.
- Control accounting documents, entries, books, and data.
- Organize the timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting books.
- Prepare, review, and sign accounting reports and financial statements within the scope of the Chief Accountant's responsibility.
- Ensure that accounting data is complete, accurate, and consistent between detailed ledgers, summary ledgers, and reports.
2. Financial Management and Internal Control
- Manage cash flow, revenue and expenditure plans, and the company's solvency.
- Control accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, and provisions.
- Participate in budget development, financial planning, and cash flow forecasting.
- Analyze business results, costs, profits, and propose control measures.
- Develop, standardize, and monitor accounting, financial, and internal control processes.
- Identify, assess, and propose measures to prevent financial and accounting risks.
3. Costing and Production Accounting
- Organize and control product cost calculation.
- Analyze cost fluctuations, standards, losses, and inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and purchasing departments to control and optimize costs.
4. Taxes and Compliance
- Control the declaration, payment, and settlement of the Company's taxes (VAT, PIT, CIT).
- Directly manage or control VAT refund applications and provide explanations to tax authorities.
- Monitor, update, and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, invoicing, and relevant legal regulations.
- Control accounting and tax transactions related to import and export and on-site import and export.
- Working with tax authorities, independent auditors, banks, consultants, and related agencies.
5. Reporting to the Parent Company
- Preparing management reports and periodic reports as required by the parent company.
- Ensuring reports are completed on time.
- Analyzing, comparing, and explaining data fluctuations to the parent company.
- Coordinating with departments to provide information for management and prepare consolidated reports.
6. Team Management
- Assigning, guiding, checking, and evaluating the work of accounting staff.
- Training, developing professional skills, and building a stable accounting team.
- Monitoring compliance with procedures, regulations, and deadlines.
- Coordinating and connecting departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.
- Chief Accountant certification.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in an accounting position, and at least 3-5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
- Experience managing all accounting operations in a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in English or Japanese.
