Chief Accountant

1. Financial Reporting
• Manage month-end financial closing and reporting processes using SAP (transactional system) and ORACLE FCCS (consolidation).
• Prepare monthly reporting packages (Local GAAP/IFRS) for entities in scope in line with Group deadlines.
• Deliver accurate, timely data, reports, analyses, and reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the Local AFC in defining and preparing monthly cash flow planning (direct and indirect).
2. Accounting Management
• Oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, treasury, and tax (direct, indirect, and deferred), as well as project management.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Streamline accounting processes and provide guidance to accounting resources.
• Develop and maintain accounting and reporting policies, ensuring compliance with accepted standards and timely submission.
3. Compliance & Audit
• Deliver statutory and IFRS annual financial statements without compromising audit quality, and support yearly/quarterly tax reporting for Group and local authorities.
• Participate in internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Supervise statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance (profit tax, VAT, and income tax) in accordance with VAS and Ministry of Finance regulations.
4. AI Implementation
• Identify opportunities to apply AI in financial processes, including automated bookkeeping, predictive analytics, and data insights.
• Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and forecasting capabilities.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Contribute to the development and management of company budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Leverage AI analytics for financial forecasting, scenario planning, and modeling.
6. Financial Analysis
• Perform in-depth financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data trends and AI-generated analytics.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Accountant qualification
• Chief Accountant Certificate holder
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role in multinational companies (experience in manufacturing companies is an advantage)
• At least 4 years in a Big 4 - Assurance or Transactions & Deal
• Proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of VAS & IFRS and Financial requirements and good understanding of local tax regulations and compliance obligations
• Solid knowledge of SAP (modules FI, CO, AA, MM)
• Solid knowledge of Oracle FCCS Consolidation module or any Consolidation software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI technologies and their applications in accounting and finance
