    *** Context: Mangosteems provide digital educational solutions to government organizations, companies, schools and universities. To support and further expand our presence in Asia, we are now looking for motivated professionals who will bring their expertise to the design and execution of promotional campaigns in the region. *** Purpose of the role: This position exists to build market share of Everybody Loves Languages’ Learning products in schools, universities and companies. This will be achieved through the development and execution of an annual visiting and sales plan covering all appropriate market segments. *** Key tasks: • At the beginning of each quarter, submit to your manager a quarterly territorial action plan detailing planned actions that will result in the achievement of the allocated individual sales target and other targets set by the line manager. In the plan, align visiting strategies with planned product promotions, coordinate sales activities with local partners and distributors, participate in and/or hold appropriate promotional events and list target institutions and visiting strategies for each. • Complete the quarterly territorial action plan within allocated budget and record all sales activities in the CRM. • Take ownership of all market segments in the territory and build future business through the expansion of prospects in the CRM • Provide timely customer service for all prospects in the territory and follow up on all potential leads. • Research and understand market and customer needs and trends. • Compile company reports and undertake research tasks as necessary. • Abide by all company rules and regulations relating to and not limited to statutory obligations, ethics and code of conduct • Undertake any additional task reasonably assigned by your line manager • Share market and competitor data and participate in pricing and positioning strategies *** Key relationships (Internal): • Management – Regional Sales Management • Product Specialists from ELL Technologies • Peer – Co-workers in the iJapan Office *** Key relationships (External): • Customers – teachers and instructors, school management and administration staff, members of the ministry of education, company Human Resource Development management, education company management • Event organizers – members of the ministry of education, members of local educational organizations. • Distributors and Re-sellers – sales and promotional staff, customer service departments, sales people • Digital distribution partners - management, sales and promotional staff, customer service departments.

    *** Qualifications: • University or college graduate, preferably MSc or MA in business related field. • Driving license Skills/knowledge: • Have knowledge of, or show a keen interest in the education market and educational products and trends. • Be a self-starter, able to build market share through proactively setting up meetings with clients and prospects • Be able to demonstrate consultative sales techniques that lead to product promotion in meetings with customers and prospects. • Be able to present product and services to decision-making committees in both English and local language • Good interpersonal skills, to build important internal relationships with key account stakeholders around the business *** Experience: • Previous experience of working in education, preferably in a sales and marketing capacity. Edtech or digital learning solutions sales an advantage. • Demonstrate a consistent and proven track record of achieving objectives though the planning and implementation of activity plans. • Experience in teaching profession is preferable but not compulsory. *** Need to be capable of 1. Strategy & Planning (incorporating Business Awareness) Understands the needs and direction of the business in context of market opportunities, threats and overall business/departmental objectives.
