- Build and maintain a strong network of Chinese customers (importers/exporters/traders), prospecting (WeChat, email, phone), referrals and partner networks.
- Prepare appropriate proposals, quotes and logistics plans for Chinese customers, ensuring competitive pricing, smooth service flow and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms (incoterms, transit times, routes, insurance, customs, payments) with customers and coordinate with internal teams to ensure implementation.
- Coordinate operational handover: ensure seamless communication with operations, documentation, customs and transport teams to deliver the promised service.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts: monitor profit margins, track shipments, manage invoicing and billing, track payments, resolve service issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor, analyze and report sales metrics (sales pipeline, success rate, profit margin, customer churn, etc.).
- Assess market dynamics: key competitors, price pressure, regulatory changes (e.g. tariffs, customs policies) affecting China-Vietnam trade and propose adjustments or new services.
- Represent the company in trade fairs, exhibitions and customer visits in Vietnam/China.
- Regularly evaluate business activities with customers, identify expansion opportunities (cross-sell, up-sell), maintain relationships with decision makers.
- Coach/mentor junior sales staff (if any) to improve performance in interactions with Chinese customers.
- Other related tasks.
* Working time: 8 am - 5 pm Mon - Fri
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Economics/Foreign Trade/Maritime or Engineering with majors such as logistics, port management and shipping.
- Sales experience in the field of Shipping/Forwarding/Logistics for at least 5 years
