Chief Accountant - Korean Manufacturing Company - Phu My Vung Tau

We are seeking an experienced, certified Chief Accountant to oversee all financial and accounting operations of our Vietnamese entity in Vung Tau. The ideal candidate will ensure strict compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax regulations, manage monthly and yearly closings, maintain robust internal controls, and provide accurate financial insights to management.[Key Responsibilities]Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and manage comprehensive management reports by the 15th of each month.Tax Compliance & Government Relations: Oversee and ensure timely tax declarations, computations, and payments (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT). Act as the primary liaison and representative for internal and external tax authorities and audits.Banking & Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash flow, banking transactions, revolving loans, and foreign exchange operations. Maintain strong, proactive relationships with banks to support short-term and long-term corporate financing needs.Internal Control & Asset Safeguarding: Maintain, evaluate, and continuously improve accounting workflows, internal control policies, and documentation to safeguard company assets.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Must possess a valid Chief Accountant Certificate issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance.
• 10–15 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager in the manufacturing or trading industry.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and Vietnamese tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MISA, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English; Korean language skills are a strong advantage.
