Mô tả công việc:

1. Management and control of accounting activities

Organize and operate the accounting system in accordance with legal regulations and company characteristics.

Supervise and guide the accounting team to perform accounting operations according to procedures and standards.

Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of accounting data (accounting for costs, revenue, debts, assets...).

Ensure that accounting records and documents are stored in accordance with legal and internal regulations.

2. Financial reporting & legal compliance

Prepare and submit periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) on time and in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).

Coordinate with independent auditors during financial statement audits.

Monitor and ensure the company fully complies with regulations of tax, insurance, and other authorities.

3. Tax management

Implement and control monthly/quarterly/yearly tax declarations and settlements (VAT, CIT, PIT,...).

Timely updates on changes in tax laws and instructions for application in practice.

Work directly with tax authorities when there is an inspection or data explanation.

4. Internal control

Propose and implement internal control procedures related to accounting, payment, and revenue and expenditure operations.

Coordinate with the Financial Controller in building effective control processes, detecting and preventing financial risks.

5. Coordinate with other departments

Support the F&PA department by providing accurate accounting data and cost analysis as required.

University degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or equivalent.

Have Chief Accountant certificate (required by Vietnamese law).

Have experience as chief accountant.

Solid understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), Accounting Law, Tax Law.

Team management skills, working with tax and audit authorities.

Priority is given to candidates with experience working with accounting software (Odoo, Misa, Fast, SAP...).

Careful, honest, logical thinking and ability to work under pressure.

Advise management on issues related to accounting, tax, financial control.

6. Manage accounting system and ensure complete data recording in Odoo

Ensure all accounting and financial transactions are fully recorded in the Odoo system in real time, to serve accurate reconciliation with MISA and bank statements.

Closely monitor and control the recording of treatment revenue and inventory movement on Odoo, ensuring inventory and treatment costs match reality.

Review and control the calculation of bonuses for Clinic Therapist and related departments through the cumulative points function on Odoo. Ensure the points calculation logic is set up and working properly.

Track customer payments and ensure receipts are recorded in Odoo. Avoid off-system processing that causes discrepancies in accounts receivable and cash data.

Coordinate with accounting department and related departments to ensure data entry in Odoo is mandatory and complete, manual processing outside the system is not accepted.

7. Team Development and Capacity Building

The Chief Accountant is responsible for building a high-performing accounting team by focusing on staff training, skill enhancement, and performance development.

*Training & Knowledge Sharing

– Conduct regular training sessions for the accounting team on VAS, tax regulations, internal controls, and accounting software.

– Ensure all accountants are up to date with relevant laws, regulatory changes, and internal SOPs.

*Performance Management & Coaching

– Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve individual performance and alignment with company standards.

– Conduct quarterly performance reviews and identify areas for development.
