RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Collaborate: Work closely with the Product Manager and dedicated team to develop new features and enhancements for Katalon products.


• 
  Analysis and Design: Perform detailed technical analysis and design to break down features based on design and business requirements.


• 
  Code Quality: Write high-quality code that adheres to development standards, design patterns, and best practices for maintainability.


• 
  Team Support: Collaborate with fellow Engineers to ensure product quality, security, and performance meet standards.


• 
  Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.


• 
  Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for codebase enhancement and propose innovative solutions.


• 
  Engineering Innovation: Contribute to internal engineering initiatives to develop tools and frameworks for improved efficiency and consistency.


• 
  Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to provide support for customer requests.


• 
  Automation Assistance: Support automation efforts by assisting with maintenance and scripting for testing purposes.

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• Extensive hands-on experience in (1) Java and (2) proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python
  


• Mastery in architecting microservices and developing APIs, coupled with a deep understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  


• Proficient in Agile methodologies and SDLC processes, with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.


• Strong command over J2EE specifications (CDI, JPA, JAX-RS) & experience with back-end web frameworks (Spring or Quarkus), ORMs (Hibernate), testing (JUnit, Mockito), etc.
  


• Good communication skills in English, enabling seamless collaboration in an international environment.


• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.


• Experience implementing automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright and deployment automation tools.


• Exposure to cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI and frontend development tools.
