Senior Business Development Executive Oem Market Vietnam

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Target Market: OEM customers, Chinese-invested manufacturers, and industrial companies in Northern Vietnam.

Our client is a Singapore-based provider of fiber optic and communication infrastructure solutions. The company supplies fiber and copper cabling, connectivity components, and network accessories for data centers, industrial systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing.

As part of its expansion in Vietnam, the company is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive – OEM Market to develop its customer base in Northern Vietnam, with a strong focus on Hanoi and surrounding industrial zones.

Missions

• Your mission is to develop new OEM accounts across Northern Vietnam, particularly in Hanoi and surrounding industrial zones, and support the company’s long-term market development and commercial growth in Vietnam.
• You will identify, approach, and engage potential customers, including Chinese-owned and Chinese-invested manufacturing companies. You will conduct market research to identify target industries, potential accounts, customer requirements, and new business opportunities.
• You will be responsible for generating qualified sales leads, maintaining a healthy pipeline of business opportunities, and tracking sales opportunities from prospecting through to project closure.
• You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineering teams, procurement teams, project stakeholders, decision-makers, potential distributors, channel partners, and relevant ecosystem contacts.
• Working closely with the Singapore headquarters, you will gather customer requirements and coordinate on quotations, technical information, and project follow-up.
• You will also conduct regular customer visits and business development activities, while preparing regular business development reports, sales activity updates, market feedback, and competitor intelligence.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, technical sales, or account management, preferably with OEM or manufacturing customers.
• Experience in industrial solutions, automation, electronics manufacturing, networking, telecommunications, fiber optic infrastructure, communication infrastructure, or related technical sectors would be an advantage.
• You are fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written, and able to communicate effectively with Chinese-owned OEM customers. You are also fluent in English to coordinate with the Singapore headquarters.
• You are self-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently. You have strong relationship-building skills and are willing to learn technical products, applications, and solutions.
• You are able to travel regularly within Northern Vietnam for customer visits and business development activities.
