ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES AusHub Talent Services is seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Program Director for a modern Australian healthcare and wellness clinic located in the heart of HCMC.
Working directly alongside the Co-Founder, the Rehabilitation Program Director will serve as the official Medical Representative of the clinic, ensuring all clinical practices align with Vietnamese medical regulations while maintaining our high international standards of care. This role will bridge the gap between medical diagnosis and physical rehabilitation.
The Rehabilitation Program Director will perform core medical doctor duties - such as differential diagnostics, medical screenings and pathology management - while leading the team of Level 1 & 2 Physiotherapists and Rehab Specialists to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Medical & Diagnostic Duties (Medical Doctor Scope)
Clinical Screening & Differential Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive medical intake assessments to accurately diagnose complex musculoskeletal dysfunctions, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions.
Red-Flag Screening: Perform thorough medical screenings to rule out systemic pathologies, neurological deficits, or contraindications to physical therapy, ensuring patient safety.
Diagnostic Referrals & Interpretation: Order and interpret necessary medical imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, Ultrasounds) and laboratory tests to inform the precise direction of the rehab program.
Medical Interventions: Administer non-surgical medical treatments as permitted within the clinic's license scope (e.g., localized injections, specialized clinical manual therapies, or pain management protocols).
Progress Monitoring & Medical Clearance: Perform regular medical reassessments to monitor recovery, adjust clinical pathways, and grant official medical clearance for return-to-sport or return-to-work.
Clinical Leadership & Team Supervision
Medical Representation: Act as the licensed medical representative for the clinic, ensuring all clinical practices strictly comply with the local Department of Health (Sở Y Tế) regulations.
Integrated Care Planning: Formulate comprehensive, evidence-based rehabilitation pathways, translating medical diagnoses into actionable treatment plans for the physiotherapy team.
Physiotherapy Oversight: Supervise and provide clinical sign-offs for Level 1 & 2 Physiotherapists/Rehab Specialists, ensuring execution of safe, evidence-based therapeutic exercises and manual techniques.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with the Co-Founder and our in-house nutritionist to align medical, therapeutic, and nutritional strategies for holistic client outcomes.
Practice Management & Mentorship
SOP Development: Work alongside the Co-Founder to design, refine, and enforce clinic policies, medical record-keeping standards, and safety/hygiene protocols.
Team Mentorship: Lead internal clinical training sessions, case studies, and workshops to upgrade the physiotherapy staff's medical knowledge and clinical reasoning skills.
Client Experience: Ensure a premium patient journey by maintaining high standards of medical ethics, clear client communication, and empathetic care.

Yêu cầu công việc:

Education: Medical Degree (Bác sĩ Đa khoa) with a completed Chuyên khoa 1 (CK1) degree in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Phục hồi chức năng), Sports Medicine, or Orthopedics/Musculoskeletal specialties.
Licensure: Must possess a valid, active Practicing Certificate (Chứng chỉ hành nghề - CCHN) allowing you to legally stand as the clinical/medical lead in this scope.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with a proven track record in diagnosing and treating sports injuries or musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting musculoskeletal imaging (MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to confidently lead a multidisciplinary team.
Strong understanding of local medical regulations and compliance standards in Vietnam.
Desired:
Language: Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with the international Co-founder and expatriate clients.
Experience working within an international, multi-disciplinary clinic environment or private healthcare sector.
Certification or training in advanced manual therapy, osteopathic/chiropractic adjustments, or dry needling.
