1. Training
▪ Directly participate in training and guiding customers or internal staff on coffee tasting, espresso extraction, and pour over techniques as requested by the Sales Team.
▪ Support in developing training processes and content related to coffee quality control.
2. Cupping & Tasting Setup
▪ Prepare and set up cupping sessions for tasting new raw materials (green coffee beans, cascara) or freshly roasted products.
▪ Participate in tasting evaluations with the Technical Manager, store cupping documentation and
coffee samples for each roast batch.
▪ Ensure standardized cupping procedures, documentation, and tasting data management.
3. Quality Control at Roastery
▪ Check quantity and evaluate the quality of incoming raw materials and existing products.
▪ Develop and maintain quality control SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) at the roastery and co-packing facilities.
▪ Directly supervise co-packing facilities and work with them on technical specifications under the guidance of the Technical Manager.
▪ Inspect and evaluate the quality of returned/exchanged goods, reporting results to the Technical Manager.
▪ Monitor packaging, storage, and overall hygiene processes at the roastery.
▪ Assist with Cold Brew preparation and quality control when needed.
4. Ad-hoc Tasks
▪ Perform other duties as assigned by the direct Manager
▪ Prior experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
▪ Experienced in setting up and conducting professional Cupping sessions; excellent sensory evaluation skills, particularly in the evaluation of coffee.
▪ Proficient in tasting techniques (cupping), accurate espresso extraction, and pour over (requires accurate measurement).
▪ Knowledgeable in hot drinks and brewing techniques.
▪ Minimum 6 months of experience in training personnel in the coffee industry.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
▪ Willingness to work in a high-pressure, hot, and factory/roastery environment.
▪ Internationally-oriented work environment with English and Vietnamese as primary languages;
▪ Coffee farm visits and team building activities, including our monthly Town Hall Breakfast;
