The Quality Assurance reports directly to the Project Manager and Head of Delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the quality and reliability of ourproducts across various platforms. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for Mobile, Web applications, and APIs.
• Execute various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing, to identify and document bugs, defects, and usability issues.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure that our products meet specified requirements.
• Document and communicate test findings, coverage, and quality metrics effectively to stakeholders, empowering informed decision-making.
• Continuously refine QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage testing environments, including user accounts, configurations, and deployments, to maintain optimal functionality.
• Uphold rigorous quality standards to deliver excellence in our products.
• Explore and implement best practices, leveraging insights into both internal and external business dynamics to enhance our products and services.

Qualifications/ Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software testing with a focus on mobile applications (Android and iOS), web applications, and APIs.
• A deep understanding of mobile platforms, including the mobile app development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Previous hands-on experience in API testing, utilizing available API testing tools such as Postman, SOAPUI
• Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and experience collaborating within cross-functional teams.
• A strong team player mindset, coupled with proactive, self-starting behavior, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges innovatively and leverage existing solutions.
• An inclination towards a quality assistance mindset, actively supporting developers in improving product quality rather than solely evaluating the final product.

Pluses:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in scripting, coding, and utilizing automation testing frameworks such as Appium, XCTest, LambdaTest, Webdriver, and Selenium.
• Basic understanding of programming and the ability to build applications independently.
• Holding an ISTQB certificate.
• Proficiency in English.
