    Job Summary

    The Purchasing/Costing Executive will play a vital role in supporting the purchasing process by assisting with managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Purchase Order Management: Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders. Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness. Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
    • Vendor Communication: Liaise with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies or issues. Communicate delivery schedules and expectations to suppliers. Maintain positive relationships with vendors.
    • Internal Communication: Liaise with operations/chefs/departments to place orders. Communicate and support operations to meet their orders requirements.
    • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts. Prepare Variance reports and review/follow-up variances with operations.
    • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, certifications, and contracts. Organize and file procurement documents for easy virtual retrieval. Prepare reports and summaries as needed.
    • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and control procedures with operations/chefs.
    • Cost Control: Assist in cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives. Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
    • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the purchasing team as required.

    Yêu cầu công việc

    Requirements

    • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
    • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment to meet tight deadlines
    • Resourceful, meticulous, detail-oriented
    • Good written and verbal communication skills in English language(compulsory) and/or Chinese language
