Production Manager - FMCG

Role Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, cost control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control daily production activities to meet output, quality, and cost targets
• Ensure adherence to GMP, safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Optimize manpower, machines, and materials to maximize efficiency
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning teams
• Reduce downtime, wastage, and production losses
• Implement and monitor KPIs, SOPs, and production reports
• Lead, train, and motivate production teams and supervisors
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial / Chemical / Mechanical or related field
• Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong exposure to high-volume production environments
• Experience in personal care / food / consumer goods manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma is an advantage
• Strong people management and problem-solving skills
