The Government Affairs Manager is responsible for strategically engaging with governmental bodies, advocating for the organization's interests, and building positive relationships with government entities. This managerial position will report directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance.
Government Relations and Advocacy:
• Develop and execute strategies to engage with governmental bodies, representing the company's interests and advocating policy positions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key government officials, agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
• Own the relationship with the GA agency.
• Collaborate with industry groups and organizations with complementary objectives to achieve objectives.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans regarding government relations, integrating them into the broader company objectives.
• Implement tactics and initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and standing within government circles.
Policy Analysis and Communication (cooperating with Legal and Compliance function):
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of policy changes and their potential impact on the company's operations.
• Communicate complex regulatory and policy issues effectively to internal stakeholders, facilitating an understanding of their implications.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory issues affecting the organization, providing recommendations and guidance on necessary actions.
Government Affairs Initiatives:
• Propose and drive initiatives to proactively address emerging regulatory or policy trends that impact the organization.
• Engage in thought leadership and industry involvement to position the company at the forefront of relevant discussions.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
• Collaborate with various departments to align government affairs strategies with business goals; Supporting for GA-related matters the Marketing and Comms teams in the execution of events and activities under the program;
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on public policy matters and government-related activities.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, legislative processes, and government structures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Law, or related fields. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field within a corporate (mandatory); experience working in a government environment is advantageous.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
