Country manager (ENG/HCM) (28748)

Seeking a Country General Manager for its Vietnam branch. The company specializes in providing high-value spatial solutions, master planning, and strategic consulting for global clients. With established offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the firm is currently expanding its market footprint across key growth sectors in the region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall business operations, strategic growth, and profit optimization in Vietnam. This leader will manage local teams, drive client acquisitions, oversee project health, and maintain seamless communication with the Japan headquarters. The role requires strong executive leadership, extensive organizational management experience, and a solid understanding of architectural design.

【Responsibilities】
-Formulate and execute medium- to long-term business growth strategies for Vietnam offices.
-Oversee full P&L management and operational budgets across local branches.
-Drive business development and build strong relationships with key corporate clients.
-Manage and lead a team and local employees across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
-Monitor overall project progress, resource allocation, and quality control.
-Report local business performance and strategic proposals directly to Japan Headquarters.
-Establish strong networks with government agencies, industry associations, and partners.
-Evaluate and improve organizational efficiency, internal workflows, and staff competencies.
-Make executive decisions on project proposals based on reports from Project Managers.

【MUST】
-Bachelor’s degree
-At least 10 years of Work experience in the construction industry
-At least 3 years of Experience as a branch manager or top company management (proven record in management decisions, strategy formulation, and organizational operation)
-Knowledge and practical experience in business numbers (P&L/BS, budget management, KPI design, etc.)
-Knowledge of architectural design (enough to teach your staff)
-English: Upper-Intermediate level
