Supplier Quality Engineer

NIC Global is partnering with a leading international fixing‑systems manufacturer to
recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer in Binh Duong. The successful candidate will work
directly at the supplier site, reporting into the Asia quality organization.

1. Main Targets:

• The Supplier Quality Engineer will spend ~40% of their time on on‑site inspections
  and ~60% on supplier quality engineering tasks (APQP support, incoming‑inspection
  reduction, supplier audits), focusing on screw products in Vietnam

2. Job Description:

• Ensure quality control for new projects and drive supplier problem-solving &
  continuous improvement;
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI): define CTQs, perform sample checks,
  validate processes, review PPAP, and set up mass-production inspection plans;\
• Audit and develop suppliers: assess QMS, guide corrective actions, enhance process
  capability, provide QC templates & training;
• Maintain inspection plans and record data in SAP.
• Conduct appearance, packaging, dimensional, mechanical & functional tests; report
  results in SAP.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines; optimize pre-shipment inspections via APQP &
  supplier development.
• Support projects in Vietnam and handle ad-hoc tasks from your line manager

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related); ≥3 years in supplier quality.
• Hands-on with fastener processes (stamping, machining, threading, heat-treat, plating,
  injection);
• D Proficient in ISO 9001 QMS, APQP/PPAP/MSA/SPC/FMEA; skilled in inspection
  & calibration;
• Experienced in supplier audits (VDA 6.3/ISO 9001) and 8D–5 Whys problem-solving;
• Familiar with project management, willing to travel frequently; self-driven, detailoriented team player.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
