Role Summary
To support our growing international business, HAPAM VIETNAM CO., LTD is looking for a Sales engineer to join our Commercial team. You will be responsible for analyzing complex technical documentation, preparing competitive quotations, identifying deviations from HAPAM standards, and coordinating with both internal departments and customer teams to clarify requirements.
This role requires a strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with engineering, sales, and client representatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze tender documentation and technical specifications.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals based on customer requirements.
• Identify and document technical and commercial deviations from HAPAM standards.=
• Discuss and clarify documentation and specifications directly with customer teams.
• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, logistics) to gather input.
• Manage tender timelines and submission schedules.
• Support Sales Managers in customer communication and tender strategy.
• Contribute to improving internal tendering processes and documentation.
• Work with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba for bid submissions and documentation handling.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a technical or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical & technical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in reading, interpreting, and discussing technical specifications.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba or similar e-procurement platforms.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and customer-oriented approach.
