Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer, you will work closely with the sales and engineering teams. You will be charged with providing technical details that the sales team will send to clients. This will help developing the RRACKS engineering reputation in Asia and European markets.

 Education and experience

o Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, with a major in Structural Engineering. Knowledge in renewable or solar energy structures would be valuable.

o 3+ years working experience in a similar position or in performing similar tasks in a multinational company is a bonus.

o Familiar with PV roof and ground mounting systems in a bonus.

 Required Skills/Competencies

o Good written and oral communications skill in English.

o Proficiency with Skyciv, SpaceGass or other structural analysis software.

o Proficiency with AutoCAD or other 2D CAD software.

o Comfortable working with an international team and adaptable to diverse environments.

o Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

o Good project management skills in construction/energy projects.

 Expectations

o Contributing technical expertise to project drawings.

o Providing technical advice and solving problems.

o Liaise with engineering team members, international sales staff, management, and manufacturers to gather product and structural requirements.

o Calculate overall dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials.

o Identify potential structural issues and collaborate with engineering team members to improve the products/system.

o Prepare rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team.

o Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards that we require.
