Quality Control Inspector (Seafood)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City (on-site role with travel to the Mekong Area and other parts of Vietnam)
Role Overview: As a Quality Control Inspector at OFCO, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of seafood quality. From supplier communication to container inspections, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
• Supplier Communication: Collaborate with suppliers to monitor production processes and maintain quality standards.
• Container Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of containers before loading, ensuring compliance with specifications. Issue detailed inspection reports.
• Supplier Audits: Participate in supplier audits to assess their adherence to quality guidelines.
• Sourcing: Assist in sourcing seafood products, evaluating suppliers based on quality, reliability, and sustainability.
• Research and Development (R&D): Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
• Survey and Assessment: Gather data and insights related to seafood quality and market dynamics.
• Training: Support training initiatives within the factory to enhance quality awareness.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in English.
• Background in agronomy, agricultural engineering, food technology, or fisheries technology.
• Specific experience and knowledge in the seafood industry.
• 1-2 years of experience in quality control or related roles (we also welcome fresher)
• Keen attention to detail and ability to identify defects in seafood products.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
