Production Engineer (New Product Development)

Overview: As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production operations, and maintaining quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement solutions, and drive continuous process enhancements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities to support the achievement of production goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with US team (the industrial design engineers) to bring the new design concept into a manufacturable and cost-effective product.

• Cooperate with Vietnam team to daily visit and check on-site suppliers/vendors factories in Binh Duong/Long An or related locations.

• Tooling follow up from CAD drawing to supplier, review Tools drawing, tracking tools production timeline, injection parts approval.

• Modify and or add details to 3D files when necessary and appropriate.

• Fabricate prototypes for testing.

• Track first PO timeline, Pilot run checking at factory and collecting golden sample.

• Oversee supplier manufacturing process, ensuring products meet quality standards.

• Arrange sample per US request.

• Review packing before mass production.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• At least 2-3 years of previous experience in new product development and quality control at manufacturing factories.

• Ability to daily travel to Binh Duong, Long An or related areas (company car provided).

• Familiar with production line process to work with supplier’s factories.

• Experience in making products from scratch to finish goods, preferable in metal, wood and plastic products.

• Familiar with welding, powder coating, tooling, plastic injection process and standard requirements.

• Experience and highly skilled with Solidworks 3D modeling software and PDM.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Excellent math, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in oral and written English.

• Preferrable for candidates living in Binh Duong area.
