JOB DESCRIPTION
Control and follow up import export shipments, make payment to suppliers,
claim to insurance company in case of cargo damage, look up regulations relating to im-ex fiel:
1. Follow up shipping documents (check, save documents, sales note, customs clearance document… )
2. Make payment request voucher for import tax, check tax payment
3. Make payment to overseas suppliers (CBU, KD part, spare part, sample part, consumable goods, material shipments, …
4. Make payment request for services fees, ocean/air freight, insurance premium, logistics charges (Checking invoice, documents, and controlling costs)
5. Update files and data concerning IM-EX, control all IM-EX shipments, and follow up on arrival notice.
6. Supporting other sections or departments if required
7. Report to Manager, support documents regarding im-ex.
8. Claim insurance company for marine insurance
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply chain, International Business, Global Trade, International Commerce, External Economics, or other related fields
• 1 year of experience in logistics, have a clear understanding of regulations related to foreign currency payments and international payment methods (including Remittance, Collection, Letter of Credit (L/C), etc.), as well as the applicable legal requirements on foreign exchange management and international transactions.
• Effective communication with forwarders, carriers, and vendors
• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Englishproficiency.
