Planner

As part of the Planning team, the Materials Planner is responsible to supply purchased parts to the assembly line by analyzing, planning and adjusting PO deliveries according to MRP requirements, in order to fulfill and maintain optimum raw material inventory levels in the system. It is responsible for tracking on time shipments and on time deliveries, maintaining proper transit time parameters in the system, controlling inventory levels in MRP avoiding lack of material, obsolescence and overstock, while at the same time keeping a healthy and professional relationship with suppliers and all team members involved in the operation.

- Supply purchased parts to the assembly line.

- Maintain MRP with optimum inventory levels by supplier and component according with the planning strategy.

- Analyze, plan and adjust PO deliveries according production plan and/or Engineering Changes Notifications as well as inventory adjustments

- Materials in transit following up

- Negotiate with suppliers delivery changes needed according to MRP

- Review and monitor raw material inventory levels at suppliers side

- Maintain optimum parameters updated in the system according to official Lead Time

- Create purchase req for new components & requirements according to the system

- Monitor daily on time shipment performance

- Monitor daily on time deliveries and past due performance

- Identify risks according to MRP

- Inform on timely manner any risk identified following the proper process

- Take necessary actions to reduce/avoid excess of inventory and obsolete parts, as well as create a strategy and propose solutions

- Coordinate deliveries for subcontracting strategies

- Manage the supplier supply crisis using a temporary delivery schedule considering the supplier's departure, transit times, customs, etc

- Charge back to supplier any expense regenerated under their responsibility (retrofit, expedites, line down)

- Follow up material replenishment for any non conformance alert

- Request supplier’s collaboration on any urgency

- Develop and maintain proper communication regularly with suppliers

- Solve issues related to discrepancies on 3 way match (physical, document, system)

- Support to obtain documents needed for transportation and customs on special situations or as needed

- Adhere to any other task assigned by supervisor

- Participate in Quality Systems Control as applicable, and determined for our function

- Comply with Health and Safety Rules

- SAP

- At least 2-3 years of experience in Planning and Supply Chain

- Bilingual (Vietnamese/English) well in written and verbal

- Professional Degree (Industrial Engineering, Administration, International business)

- Knowledge of Excel, world and google suit
