Piping Engineer

We are looking for a Piping Engineer to join our Vietnam-based team and support international projects in the US and Canada. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a collaborative and international working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review detailed piping design documents, including P&IDs, piping layouts, and 3D models submitted by contractors.

• Identify and resolve design issues in collaboration with the project team.

• Review Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.

• Verify installation manuals to ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Monitor the progress of engineering, procurement, and construction through project management tools and reports.

• Maintain accurate records of project milestones and status.

• Draft reports for the Project Management Team.

• Review and validate contractor invoices for accuracy.

• Occasional travel to project sites in the US or Canada to support site coordination and collaborate with the onsite team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design or construction project management — candidates with both design and site experience are highly valued. Background in Oil & Gas, Power Plant, or Automotive industries preferred.

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes.

• Proficiency in piping design and review software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, PDMS, Navisworks).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.

• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
