Pattern Designer Staff

Key responsibilities & duties

Pattern designers are responsible for creating patterns from blueprints or design ideas, customer documents, editing and perfecting the pattern until the product is put into mass production on a large scale.

Duties of the role

• Deploy pattern design according to technical documents provided by customers, design patterns on Gerber software

• Follow the development product design process from Proto-size sets.

• Edit according to customer requirements.

• Calculate quote norms and fabric order norms for production.

• Coordinate deployment for the sample sewing department.

• Specific details will be discussed in detail during the interview.

Qualifications

• Graduated from secondary school majoring in garments or higher.

• Able to read, understand, write and communicate in English.

Work experience and skills

• Understand the techniques in the garment industry.

• Proficient in using Gerber design software and office computers.

• Can read and understand specialized English documents.

• Have 3 years of experience in a similar position or more.

• Work independently, withstand high work pressure.
