Marine Biologist

1. Coral Surveys

• Assess coral reef health regularly using scientific protocols.

• Identify and address threats such as bleaching, disease, and human impacts.

• Expand and maintain coral restoration projects, including transplanting coral frames.

2. Marine Life Surveys

• Monitor and document fish populations, seagrass beds, and other key species.

• Maintain accurate biodiversity data to evaluate ecosystem health.

• Collaborate with external organizations on advanced research and conservation initiatives.

3. Guest and Host Engagement

• Organize snorkeling, guided eco-dives, and marine life workshops to educate guests and hosts.

• Develop engaging educational materials, including presentations and brochures.

• Lead innovative marine activities aligned with Six Senses’ crafted experiences philosophy.

4. Training for Sustainability and Experience Teams

• Provide training sessions on marine biodiversity and conservation techniques.

• Equip team members with skills to support coral restoration and marine life surveys.

• Enhance the teams’ capacity to educate guests about marine ecosystems.

• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to strengthen SSNVB’s marine conservation initiatives.
