Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, sales, and customers to handle the entire import process, ensuring on-time service delivery, accurate updates, and effective issue resolution.
Work with shipping lines and agents to obtain freight rates, vessel schedules, and transit times for import shipments.
Update daily import vessel schedules to the sales team and other related departments.
Arrange bookings with shipping lines/agents upon request from sales or customers.
Monitor cargo movement and update import shipment statuses (ETA, ATD, POD, D/O release, ETC.) to sales and customers.
Collaborate with the Documentation team to ensure complete import documentation; check manifest and bills of lading.
Communicate with customers and partners to handle issues such as delays, vessel changes, missing documents, additional charges, early/late arrival, customs inspection, damaged goods, ETC.
Guide customers through cargo release procedures when needed (contact shipping line, obtain D/O, arrange payment, ETC.).
Maintain shipment records and documentation and support Accounting with reconciliation when needed.
Coordinate internally with OPS, Accounting, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Report weekly progress and other requested updates to the department manager.

College or University degree in Languages, Logistics, Import-Export, or related fields.
Personal laptop required for work.
Fluent in English, including both business and conversational skills; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role at forwarding, import-export, or logistics companies.Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure and handle situations with flexibility and adaptability.
Proficient in using email, Excel, and internal software systems.
Proactive, team-oriented, and able to collaborate well with multiple departments.
