Position Overview:
Geosung Vina is seeking a chef-trained professional to oversee OEM manufacturing of traditional Korean foods such as sundae (Korean blood sausage), soups/stews (guk/tang), marinated meats, and franchise-supplied sauces.
This role involves hands-on participation in food production, raw material inspection, quality control of production processes, and R&D activities including development of convenience meals and sauces.
Understanding of local Vietnamese ingredients and cuisine, as well as the ability to communicate in English, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
OEM Production Management
● Coordinate daily production activities for sundae, broths, and marinated meats with OEM manufacturers
● Monitor quality standards during production and implement corrective actions as needed
● Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with hygiene and HACCP standards
Ingredient and Raw Material Management
● Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging for quality and compliance with company standards
● Manage inventory traceability and prepare supplier performance evaluation reports
Recipe & Process Development Support
● Participate in R&D for standardization of sauces and broths supplied to franchise outlets
● Localize recipes using regional ingredients and conduct testing
Franchise Supply Support
● Manage production and quality control of semi-finished products and sauces supplied to franchisees
● Ensure consistency in taste, weight, and packaging quality of delivered products
Documentation & Food Safety Compliance
● Maintain production records, inspection checklists, and quality logs
● Ensure compliance with food hygiene and manufacturing regulations
● Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary roles or food manufacturing environments
● Experience in Vietnamese cuisine, especially noodle soups and broths, is preferred
● Solid understanding of HACCP and food production processes
● Proficiency in English for communication and documentation
● Responsible, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills

● Experience in sauce production or RTE (Ready-To-Eat) food manufacturing
Familiarity with Korean ingredients and traditional cooking methods
● Knowledge of food labeling standards, shelf-life control, and packaging requirements
Additional Notes
● This position is based at the OEM production site and our franchise restaurant which involves direct collaboration with suppliers and franchise operations teams.
● Candidates with combined experience in culinary execution and production quality management will be prioritized.
