Electrical Design Engineer ( Shipbuilding Company)

JOB TASKS

• Prepare electrical drawings
• Make a calculation to define equipment
• Ensure the design is consistent with the terms of the contract
• Prepare the purchasing specification of equipment
• Prepare the request for quotation and/or purchase
• Keep the weight estimation of the vessel up to date regarding the latest information
• Make sure the technical documentation available is up to date
• Attend the trials of the vessel
• Follow-up the regulation evolution
• Remains aware of the latest technological innovation and working methods

* RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

• Responsible for the accuracy of the drawings issued
• Responsible in maintaining productivity by accomplishing task within the allotted hours
• Reports regularly and accurately to the officer

• University'sdegree in naval architect,shipbuilding technical or related fields
• At least2years of experience in thesame position
• Experience in electrical design andin the naval environment would be a plus
• Experience with 3D ship design software, including AutoCAD and performing design model for system design principles and practices
• Familiar with Class Rules & IEC standards
• Innovative and engineering spirit
• Critical and analysis minded
• Dynamic, Organized, thorough and meticulous
• Good communication skills
• Experience in working both independently and in collaborative environments.

Working time

• From 7:30am to 16:30pm
• Lunch break for 1 hour from 11:30am to 12:30pm
• Even weeks – 48H – Monday to Saturday
• Odd weeks – 40H – Monday to Friday
