Data Project Manager

Responsibilities

The data project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven projects. Key responsibilities may include:

• Defining project scope, objectives, and timelines
• Assembling and leading cross-functional project teams
• Developing and managing project plans, budgets, and resource allocation
• Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues or risks
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align on requirements and deliverables
• Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Communicating project status and outcomes to executive leadership

Qualifications

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications/Electronics, or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management in areas such as Banking, Database, Data Analyst, Data Solution, Data Archive
• Demonstrates understanding and ability to flexibly apply project management methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum

Language and Certification Requirements:

• Excellent English communication skills, minimum TOEIC 700
• Experience as a Tester/Developer/BA or possession of PMP/ACP/PSM certifications is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working and coordinating IT projects
• Has managed software/hardware projects for clients in the BFSI/Banking/Enterprise sectors or with international partners
