1. Quotation & Pricing (40%)
• Receive quotation requests from Sales team or overseas agents.
• Contact carriers/co-loaders to obtain competitive rates and check suitable schedules.
• Analyze optimal transportation solutions based on price, transit time, and service conditions.
• Prepare and send quotations using the company template, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Regularly update rate sheets from carriers, co-loaders, and domestic transport providers.
• Monitor profit margin per shipment and report to the Pricing Team Leader in case of irregularities.
2. Customer Service (40%)
• Receive bookings from clients/agents and verify key information (POL, POD, ETD/ETA, cut-off, etc.).
• Send bookings to carriers/co-loaders and follow up for confirmation.
• Coordinate with Documentation (Docs) and Operations (OPS) teams to ensure timely cargo handling.
• Proactively update clients on cargo status (delays, rollovers, missing documents, etc.).
• Act as the main contact for resolving issues such as lost documents, late deliveries, B/L problems, additional charges…
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
3. Shipment Monitoring & Internal Coordination (15%)
• Collaborate with relevant departments (Sales, Docs, OPS, Accounting) to manage shipment progress, documentation, and cost control.
• Update customer data management system (CRM) and booking tracking files.
• Support the team in achieving overall KPI targets.
4. Agency & Client Development (5%)
• Assist Sales and Business Development teams in customer consultation.
• Communicate with international agency network to send/receive RFQs and process bilateral pricing.
• Contribute to the development of new trade lanes and services as directed by management.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Import-Export, or Logistics.
• Experience:
▫️ At least 3 years of experience in Customer Service or Pricing in a logistics/forwarding company.
▫️ Preference for candidates with hands-on experience working with carriers, overseas agents, or logistics pricing.
• English Proficiency:
▫️ TOEIC 700+ or IELTS 6.0+ is required.
▫️ Must be capable of professional business email writing and fluent in English listening and speaking for meetings with global partners.
• Professional Skills:
▫️ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
▫️ Solid understanding of Incoterms, international transport modes, and commercial conditions.
▫️ Analytical thinking in comparing freight rates and proposing optimal logistics solutions.
• Soft Skills:
▫️ Excellent communication and flexible problem-solving skills.
▫️ Meticulous, proactive, and highly responsible.
▫️ Eager to learn, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
