Associate

• Advising clients on their business areas.

• Preparing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents.

• Conducting research and analysis of information, legal documents; checking with authorities on the application of the laws in practice.

• Attending meetings with clients and third parties.

• Liaising with relevant authorities to deal with their requirements as well as to follow up the ongoing cases.

• Assisting, representing or protecting clients before court or arbitration in commercial disputes;

• Assisting partners in business development and internal matters.

• Performing other assignments as delegated by Partner and Senior Associate from time to time.

• Holding a BA or other equivalent degree in Law.

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).

• Having at least 2 years of prior experience with local and/or foreign law firms.

• Be good at mathematics.

• Having strong presentation and negotiating skills.

• Being dynamic, responsible and priority minded.

• Being able to work independently and under pressure of deadlines.

• Ability to work with computer software: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Outlook Express.
