Accountant

We are looking for a skilled GL Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. The role is to handle following task list for 3 set of accounting books for Benline Vietnam.

o Daily update VCB exchange rate to company related departments.

o Bi-monthly Interco transaction journals entries: make sure that both books Sage MCV and BLAV are reconciled before GL close.

o Month-end closing journal entries for agency’s expenses: payroll, accruals, prepaid, depreciation, revaluation, ensure data uploaded correctly to accounting software and by closing due date.

o Fixed assets accounting full cycle (capitalize, depreciation, derecognition)

o P&L account analysis: assist in reviewing and monitoring some dedicated expense groups and ad-hoc adjustment journals entries (upload) when the requests is validated

o Balance-sheet reconciliation: Account balances are tied sub-ledger/ supporting documents, long outstanding items are justified

o To fill out closing checklist as part of track closing KPI of Finance team.

o Assist in annual internal, external audits

o Assist in data admin for finance as system coordinators: report/add/remove user, system issues

o Documents control and fillings under this scope.

- 3 years + in general accounting role, referable in Shipping line/Logistics/Forwarding

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Auditing/ Finance

- Able to communicate in English both Speaking and Writing

- Detail-oriented

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Accounting professional: VAS, IFRS

- Knowledge of VN tax regulations

- Experiences working with accounting software and MS office
