• Develop new customers (BCO, NVO, and inbound).
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Promote container shipping services (FCL, LCL, and special cargo).
• Negotiate freight rates and surcharges with customers.
• Achieve assigned sales targets in TEUs and revenue.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs; collect and report relevant market intelligence to TIR / Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Documentation, Operation, and Trade teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Prepare and submit sales performance reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s employee handbook and legal business regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager and RGM.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the shipping or logistics industry (preferably in Sales for shipping lines or freight forwarders).
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of international shipping, containerized cargo (FCL, LCL, special cargo), Incoterms, and logistics market dynamics.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (speaking & writing); fluency in Chinese is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office; proven ability in market analysis, sales planning, and customer relationship management (CRM).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Proactive, target-oriented, professional, dynamic, and enthusiastic, with a strong commercial mindset and customer service orientation.
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure, while achieving assigned sales targets.
