Quality Assurance Manager Qa Qc/Tester Japanese N2+

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a talented and experienced QC/QA Manager to join our dynamic team. The QC/QA Manager will be responsible for contributing to manual test case management, communicating with related stakeholders and developing the application in cooperation with the product manager, working in the form of Squad, a small team can quickly and consistently engage in everything from design to development, testing and operation.

Job Scope

• Develop and lead the overall QC/QA strategy, including test analysis, design, and execution for web and mobile applications.


• Manage and mentor a team of QC/QA executives, ensuring high performance and professional development.


• Oversee the performance of test analysis, design, and execution for web and mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality outcomes.


• Foster a high awareness of product quality within the team by improving system requirement definition accuracy and enhancing the UAT process.


• Engage in projects at early stages to identify and address risk factors such as bugs and scheduling issues promptly.


• Implement measures to prevent the recurrence of problems, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.


• Work closely with other departments, such as development and product management, to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.


• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on QA activities, risks, and product quality status.

• Backend: Ruby(on Rails), Go, Amazon Aurora(MySQL), Elasticsearch, DynamoDB


• FrontEnd: Nuxt.js/Vue.js, ReactJS


• Mobile App: Kotlin, Swift, Flutter


• Deploy/ Build: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions


• Others: swagger, Docker, ZenHub, Figma

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a QC Manager or in a similar role


• Extensive knowledge of QC methodologies, tools, and processes, particularly for web service and mobile applications


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail


• Familiar with Agile/ SCRUM environment


• Proficiency in Japanese (N2 level or higher)


• Ability to communicate well in development projects

Nice to have

• Good at English communication


• Working experience in Japanese projects as QC/QA


• Able to grasp trends and research new technologies


• Experience working for web development related companies
