II. JOB DISCRIPTION
A. Functions and roles
• Support and represent the General Director in the daily operations of the Company.
• Ensure smooth coordination between departments, farms and production and business units.
• Take primary responsibility for implementing production plans, quality control, export, and operational management.
• Be a bridge between the Board of Directors and the middle management team, while maintaining relationships with partners and strategic customers.
1. Production & farm management
o Directly supervise banana farms (area, output, costs, labor).
o Ensure technical processes, labor safety, disease prevention, and GlobalGAP/VietGAP standards (if any).
o Coordinate human resources, materials, and machinery to optimize productivity and costs.
2. Export & Market Management
o Monitor export situation (output, price, logistics, customers).
o Work with domestic and foreign partners (China, Korea, Japan, ...) on contracts, quality, delivery schedule.
o Coordinate with the Sales - Import - Export department to handle incidents related to delivery, documents, customs.
3. Human resources & operations management
o Direct and supervise the activities of departments: HR, Finance - Accounting, Agricultural Engineering, Production, Export, Warehouse.
o Propose recruitment, training, remuneration policies, rewards - discipline.
o Build a professional working culture, unite the team.
4. Plan & report
o Develop and implement short-term and long-term production - business plans under the direction of the Board of Directors/General Director.
o Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency; Periodic and ad hoc reports to the CEO/Board of Directors.
o Propose solutions to improve cost management efficiency, increase productivity, and expand markets.
5. System management & compliance
o Ensure that the Company's operations comply with laws, State policies, and agricultural and export industry standards.
o Monitor the implementation of ISO, HACCP, GlobalGAP … (if the company applies).
o Manage risks in production, finance, and export.
C. AUTHORITY
• On behalf of the CEO, manage all company operations when authorized.
• Sign and approve within the budget/authorization.
• Propose organizational structure, adjust processes, appoint or dismiss middle-level managers.
• Represent the Company in working with State management agencies, partners, and strategic customers.
1. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
o University/Master's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, Foreign Trade, etc.
o Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the agricultural/export sector, including at least 3 years in a senior management position.
o Deep understanding of the agricultural production and export chain (especially bananas).
o Skills in human resource management, financial analysis, negotiation and crisis management.
o Foreign languages: fluent in English (knowing Chinese/Japanese is an advantage).Good communication skills, logical thinking, quick and flexible problem solving ability;
