Production Planning Assistant (Toys/ Garment/ Footwear -Ninh Binh)

We are a British-owned company that manufactures (mainly) toys in Asia. We are looking for someone based in Vietnam with a background in production planning (of Toys would be a bonus) who could fulfill a production planning role,

The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and experience in production planning processes. This role requires excellent communication skills and familiarity with enterprise software systems such as ERP or SAP. The ability to travel to factory locations as needed is also essential.

Working hours: Mon to Fri (40 hours/week)

Location: Ninh Binh

Main responsibilities

- Assist in the development and implementation of production plans.

- Track actual production output, identify potential risks, and initiate corrective actions promptly.

- Manage communication and coordination with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of purchase orders.

- Maintain and update production records and reports using enterprise software.

- Support various tasks as directed by the Production Manager to facilitate efficient operations.

- At least 03 years of experience working in production planning for the toys/ garments/ footwear industry

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, preferably SAP.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Experience in production or planning is an advantage.

- Good English skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).

- Must be able to work on-site daily at the factory.
