Procurement Specialist

- Research potential vendors by strategic sourcing, auditing, and selection.

- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

- Track orders and ensure timely delivery

- Review quality of purchased products

- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information in system

- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses, price trend, saving cost supplier performance.

- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up to date with industry trends

- Solve arising issues during purchase: inadequate quality, late delivery…

- Make payment plan with risk off

- Report immediately to supervisors/manager all difficulties plus a solution (if any)

- Make action plan with root causes, corrective action, and preventive action for any off, risk off.

- Maintain good relationship with suppliers.

- Sale off overstock materials.

- Other tasks assigned by supervisors/manager

- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors) in furniture field.

- Hands-on experience with purchasing software ERP, MRP

- Understanding of supply chain procedures

- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses

- Negotiation skills, communication skill & good at English.
