Process Technician

1. Perform troubleshoots and resolve technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels to meet process and department KPI.

2. Coordinate with Process Engineer to feedback and improve the incoming material issue and support Engineer for EBR (Engineering Build Request).

3. Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with Engineer to address major process issues related to quality issues, yield and cost.

- Team up with equipment/process engineer on chronic equipment failure through appropriate trouble-shooting and continuous improvement methodology.

- Carry out investigation; implement containment and permanent corrective action to reduce/eliminate maverick lots (through teaming effort with equipment/process engineer and supervisors.

- Conform to quality system requirements as spelt out in FMEA, Control plan, WI and TCM and handle the abnormality product.

- Coordinate with cross function team to register, allocate machine, prepare material for EBR (Engineering Build Request).

- Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain continuous and stable operation of machinery to ensure required standards of product quality and process

1. Graduated from college or university in related fields such as mechanical engineering, electronics, automation, industrial electricity, automotive…

2. Technical Skills:

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding the FMEA, Control plan, Fishbone, 5 why, MSA, 6 sigma(refer) and operating principles of related equipment, systems, or software.

- Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings: Ability to read and understand technical drawings, electrical diagrams, electronic circuits, etc. (if related to the field).

- Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety practices when working with machinery, chemicals, electricity, etc.

3. Abilities:

- Ability to communicate in English, understand basic drawing.

- Able to carry out effective solving issues related to process/machine/material,

- Able to apply continuous improvement methodology on issues related to Process/Equipment.

- Soft Skills: Problem-Solving, Teamwork, Logical Thinking & Attention to Detail.
