Quality Assurance Specialist (Seafood & Value-Added Foods)

About the Role

Tai Foong USA, a U.S. company specializing in premium seafood and value-added food products (Royal Asia, Northern Chef brands), is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist based in Ho Chi Minh City. This position will work closely with our partner factories to ensure products meet international standards for food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production lines at seafood and value-added food manufacturing facilities.

• Inspect products for quality, safety, and labeling compliance.

• Track raw material usage, yields, and finished product quality.

• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement programs.

• Assist in audits (internal, customer, and regulatory).

• Report findings and updates in English to the U.S. QA team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.

• 2+ years of QA or QC experience in seafood or food manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and international food safety standards.

• Good communication in both Vietnamese and English.

• Ability to work independently and travel within Vietnam as needed.
