Manufacturing Engineering (Post - Assembly Process)

- Develop, document, and optimize post-PCBA processes, including:

• PCB cleaning and baking
• Wave solder / Selective wave solder
• Conformal coating (manual, selective, or automated)
• Depaneling (router, laser, or manual)
• Mechanical and final assembly

- Analyze process capabilities and implement improvements to enhance yield, efficiency, and quality.

- Work closely with quality engineers to investigate post-assembly defects and implement corrective actions.

- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, ensuring readiness for post-assembly operations.

- Select, validate, and maintain equipment and tooling required for post-assembly steps.

- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions.

- Lead efforts in process control, cost reduction, and cycle time optimization.

- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards (IPC, ISO, etc.).

- Provide technical training and support to production personnel and operators.

- Design fixture, pallet (Wave solder / Selective wave solder).

- Participate in audits, process FMEAs, and continuous improvement programs (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing, specifically in post-assembly processes.
• Strong knowledge of soldering materials, thermal profiling, and SMT/THT assembly processes.
