Logistics Coordinator

- Receive information requesting bookings from customers and foreign agents.

- Book with shipping lines and send booking information to customers and foreign agents.

- Responsible for making bills, submitting SI, handling exchanges with customers and shipping lines.

- Coordinate with shipping lines, agents and related departments to handle issues arising in transportation and documents of an export shipment.

- Receive documents from foreign agents, submit Manifest to shipping lines and co-loaders

- Be responsible for monitoring the status of goods from the time of receiving goods until the goods are delivered to the consignee at the port, unloading goods and resolving issues related to customers/agents/airlines and reporting arising incidents (if any) to the Manager

- Collect costs, make Debit/Credit Note for customers/agents for each shipment, enter internal data, transfer to accounting to issue invoices

- Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

- Familiarize warehousing. Local transportation and import and export customs clearance business

- Ensure daily operations are completed as per Import/ export procedures.

- Well co-ordinate with relevant team (Sale/Operation/ Invoicing) to make sure whole process is properly follow.

- Handle documentation for import- export shipments from get booking until close a file, including main jobs below:

- Check and update schedules of carriers, airlines, co-loaders as required to clients/sales; and send the booking upon request of sales/client, Get booking with carrier/ co-loader

- Make all documents (billing, filling AMS/ACI/AFR, sending pre-alert, do payment ....) to finish the import - export process

- Open customs declarations.

- Follow and report cargo schedule

- Education level: University degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade, Import-Export...

- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field of sea freight forwarding at logistics companies, forwarders, understanding of Incoterm, import-export of goods, warehouse, domestic, experience handling goods to the US, Canada ( ISF/AMS filling )... is an advantage
