As a Korean linguist at Glohow, you will play a crucial role in translating and localizing gaming materials as well as collaborate with internal cross functional teams to assist with their tasks.
Our business is constantly evolving, and as a Korean - Vietnamese linguist, you will have the opportunity to expand your scope beyond gaming and into new industries that we plan on tapping into. This will allow you to apply your linguistic skills and cultural expertise to diverse projects, broadening your professional horizons.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents and texts from Korean to Vietnamese (Korean to English translation can be assigned from time to time).
- Communicate with clients in Korean.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments (internals) using Korean and English to provide smooth coordination.
- Support assigned tasks such as managing TM/TB for the project, making a style guide, proceeding with Language QA, etc.

We are looking for candidates with:
- Native-level proficiency in Korean, including reading, writing, and listening.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively with others.
- Passion for gaming.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Interest in Mobile Game Quality Assurance (QA).
- Experience in Tech/Game Industries.
Qualifications
- Experience in communication-related roles (interpretation, translation, etc)
- Good command of Korean (TOPIK 5 or higher).
- Knowledge about the Translation CAT tool is required.
- Good English skill.
- Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and related fields.
- Good Microsoft Office Skills. (Excel, Word, etc...)
- Detail-oriented, good relationship and strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Interested in the Game, Webtoon, or Fantasy Animation field.
- Experience in Game/Software QA is a plus.
- Experienced in working as a translator or community management in the game industry is
an advantage.
