Job Description

Var Meta is looking for a dedicated Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to enhance our development operations and infrastructure. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, blockchain-focused environment. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test, and production environments.

You will:

Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
Help automate and streamline our operations and software deployment processes.
Collaborate with software developers to deploy and operate our systems.
Maintain and ensure high availability of services.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure the security of the infrastructure.
Research, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve DevOps processes.

Your Skills and Experience:

2+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools, scripting, and automation.
Experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and caching systems like Redis.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Strong understanding of security best practices.
Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle complex challenges.
Excellent teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to resolving issues.
Effective communication skills in English.
Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain is a plus.
