Data Engineer

Provides expert guidance in areas such as AI, machine learning, and automation, supporting solution integration and operational readiness. Recommends and implements technology improvements for efficiency and compliance. Collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to ensure solutions fit strategy and standards, and mentors teams in technical best practices.

A DAY IN LIFE:

• Design and implement automated data pipelines to streamline business processes and analytics.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure automation solutions align with organizational objectives and enhance efficiency across teams.

• Build robust, scalable data architectures that support reliable, real-time automation.

• Integrate new technologies to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and minimize manual intervention.

• Maintain and enhance automation tools, including Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and other Microsoft Power Platform components.

• Define and monitor key performance metrics for automated processes to assess and continuously improve performance.

• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and privacy regulations by implementing cataloging and monitoring solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers, share automation best practices, and cultivate a culture of data-driven innovation throughout the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems required.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data engineering, specializing in Azure tools (ADF, ADX), Power BI (development and administration), and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

• Skilled in AI engineering (RAG, Generative AI), machine learning (regression, clustering, deep learning), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

• Experience with data visualization (Power BI, R, Python), analytics project methodologies (CRISP-DM/Agile), and data privacy regulations.

• Strong communication skills and experience working in global, virtual teams, preferably in FMCG/CPG or retail analytics.
